....while I was driving around Goyt Valley late on Sunday afternoon, I took a wrong turn and came upon what looked like a miniature version of Curbar Edge - I have since found it on the map and it is called Foxlow Edge. See the rockface and remains of the old building down on the left - that is where I found a gate and from there climbed up to this vantage point and along the rocky edge. On the road you can see a farmer heading home - I expect he will be going home to a Sunday Roast dinner. ps Does anyone remember the film and book with this title? - a little quiz - who wrote the book and who starred in the film? (btw it is before my time!!! LOL!)
