Athos is the holy mountain on Agios Oros, the one of the three peninsulas named Chalkidiki, Greece. I shot this from the neighboring peninsula Sithonia, from the village Sarti. Agios Oros is forbidden for women and the boats can't go nearer than 500 yards. That's today!!! And the Ancient Greeks were more civilized, centuries ago.
