The Madonna Della Monte Sanctuary is nestled in the foothills just before where the Alps sprout up in northern Italy. The sanctuary was built in 1615 and is utilized for services daily. I captured this image from the backside of the sanctuary, attempting to incorporate grass, greenery and sky with the building.
