This is a panoramic photo (stiched together from 3 photographs) of the Wellsville Mountains in northern Utah. This mountain range has the distinction of having the tallest peaks arising from the narrowest base of anywhere in the world. They are fault-block mountains resulting from fracturing and tilting of the earth's crust. This view is nearly at the top. I had taken my camera to grab a picture of the Great Salt Lake for Keifer (Keith), but it was such a foggy day in the valley I couldn't get a good shot there. Keith, this will have to do.
