Espichel Cape - Arrabida Mountain: For over 600 years in the mid-fourteenth century, a chapel was built to store an image of the Virgin, venerated upon the rock where it was found. Around it grew modest homes to receive the pilgrims who demanded here. Later (1715) were built hostel with townhouses and shops, also known by the House of Candles
