Mercedes Benz Museum - Stuttgard - The Victoria was Karl Benz' first four-wheeled automobile. Its fundamentally new design had been made possible by the kingpin steering system improved by Benz, permitting the two front wheels to assume different cornering radii and therefore the vehicle to negotiate bends more safely.
