The lady in the black dress is my sister in law Wendy, pro event photo shoot for August the 7th. The Residents Action Force (RAF) Ernesettle invites you to a unique event commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain this summer. We have a line-up of family-fun that includes a dog show, games for all ages, a tug-o-war, stalls, refreshments, an evening picnic and dancing to a Big Band. Dress-up in 1940s clothing and sample activities and food with a wartime flavour. Lucky draw programmes will go on sale from 21 July priced at £1. As well as containing full details of the event, some great prizes can be won including a night at the Astor Hotel Executive Suite, family tickets to Argyle FC and other local leisure attractions, beer, wine and more... See you there on Saturday 7 August.
