While in the U.P several years ago we visited Fayette Historic State Park.In the 1800's they used the resources found here to make Iron. It was once a bustling industrieal community that manufactured pig iron. between 1867-1891. I really enjoyed our visit there, Not only interesting but a beautiful area.
