A Burger King Whopper isn't too heavy...I can carry one with one hand....my wife can even carry one....though she tires easily.

Well in a UTOPIAN world I would have to agree Mr CamMan. However unfortunatley a little more thought needs to be involved as I have found the cooking is only as good as the ingrediants you put into it if you know wat I mean........?

Yeah....a Whopper just isn't a Whopper without hamburger. But...they are lighter.

Well then u lil Cutie. Here goe's the protocol.

1 -> Breakfast.
2 -> Brunch.
3-> Lunch.
4-> Arfternoon Tea.
5-> Dinner.

Hope this helps. If I take a lass to a meal it's normally going out for Dinner as in night. I.E. After 5.00pm. I think going out for Tea sounds common and abrupt.

Rice Pilaf ... or a wild mushroom risotto ... with a garden salad, tossed in a light vinaigrette ... and some fresh bread, lightly toasted and rubbed with garlic.

What time are you expecting me?

Then I would suggest for clarification you have you dinner at breakfast time due to you being a night worker. I reckon I could do those sorts of hours i am a nocturnal kind of guy.

Would be brilliant, methinks.

Ahhh, the good old graveyard shift ... worked it during summers between university. Bonus for me? Come lunch time ... most of the men wanted to catch a few winks and relinquished their lunches to this growing boy at the time.

I experienced some very unique and unusual foods. Had shark for the first and only time, lol. :oP

Continuing ... stuffed sole with crab as an alternative Nik. 10 - 15 minutes in the oven, add the same as above and you are set to go. :o)

Monkfish, perhaps? In a lemon butter sauce? Nutz ... now I am hungry. Oh you're a clever one Mr. Aphex Twin.

here's a tasty dish....{ light & healthy & easy}:)
you can cook on the grill OR bake in oven....

Salmon & veggies

get a sheet of tin foil....{ I put mine on a cookie sheet...but you do not have to}...
spray the foil with pam/ for non-stick reasons,
Put desired amount of salmon filets { fresh or buy frozen & thaw} on sheet....
sprinkle Mrs Dash, or lemon pepper or both, a shot of soy sauce, or even a pat of butter if preferred...
sprinkle fresh green beans sparsely and all around, a few almond slivers,
and whatever variety veggies { all sliced thinly}....and even cooked lightly before-hand to desired tenderness ( I like mine a bit raw}.....and cover { tent style-with another sheet of foil}...and bake or grill on a medium heat for approx 5 minutes....uncover...and watch closely---do not over-cook the fish, and cook till meat is flaky and cooked thru}.
Serve as is....or put all over rice { pilaf style-or even seasoned}.

Tonight...I made oven-baked chicken...{ skinless/boneless breasts-dusted with poultry seasoning}....and then sauteed zuchini and onions in a shot of olive oil and 1 tbsp butter, a buncha black pepper and dash of red pepper, and when onions transparent...added fresh mushrooms and sauteed into mix....and added a box of boxed { generic} bread seasoning/stuffing{chicken flavor}....and it absorbed the excess moisture/oils...and served as a side dish. NOt bad.....:) Had Diet blueberrey Green tea { Arizona brand} to drink.

I find that smoked salmon and crackers is much better..

..you can also take mozerella (however it's spelt) and put a slice of tomato over it...of course you add some oregeno and put some olive oil and salt over it. (I HATE tomatos, but the salt makes it taste non-tomatoe like)

..u can tell i havent competed in a spelling B contest.

it does, and you gotta love the germans for having a beer made for breakfast... but i'm going to have to side with the french or the italians on this one, and go for some really strong, dark coffee....

MadMaven style Pot Roast :)
in the crock pot..... using a large sized electric style crockery cooker}
{ made for a gathering of approx 7 people} adults and kids
Beef pot roast / approx-5-6 pound

I got a large skillet sprayed with pam....poured in a small amount...maybe 3/4 cup olive oil...
then put the roast in....and browned it...adding onions-approx 3 {chopped white onions}...and 2 HUGE serving spoonfuls of minced in jar garlic....and even added approx 1/2 cup juice from same garlic jar...into the pan...and after it browned both sides....took it from heat and covered it...and dusted meat with the white and black pepper...

I added quartered red potatoes { approx 6-medium sized} and bagged baby carrots{raw} into a pam sprayed CROCK POT...and did some seasonings...various...like a bit of seasoning salt { mcCormick's}, and a few jigger-shakes of worchestershire sauce...and approx 3/4 stick REAL butter....a dash of oregano, thyme and more black pepper:)
{ this ingredient is sold in ALBERTSON'S / ESSENTIA brand asian sesame salad dressing {oil}...for salads..../ I added approx 1/2 cup. If u cannot find it, don't sweat it...I will let u know if it adds a great and major way to this meal...or not....:)
A splash of red wine...and some powdered marsala seasoning...then added the meat on TOP....and poured all the juice in same pan into mixture...and cooked on high for 1 hour....rediuced to medium or low for rest of the time...which is approx 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 hours.

I made the recipe up as i went along....:)
