I am in a mood to make some new ppc Today Screen themes...I am looking for some killer fractals...something in varying shades of one color= blue, purple, green, red (you pick the color and have fun). I also need one opal-ish (is that a word?) fractal...

Anyway, since this will be shrunken down to 240x320 for portrait size and 320x240 for landscape size, the details need to be awesome...so if anyone is up to the challenge of creating a fractal on a small scale...let me know...and Lauren...I fully EXPECT you to bing your best to the table!!

Thanks guys, I'll post my Today screens once I get the fractals to make them...oh and one final word...this is for me only, I will not publish the today screens for anyone else...however, if you have a Windows Mobile 5 PDA/PPC and want a today screen, I'll offer them to Caedesians ONLY with the permission of the fractal artist.

Anyway...something pretty and ethereal/mystical...something unique...but only using shades of one color (so that I can easily make a complimentary Today Screen font/color)

The upright one is the main screen, the sideways one is for when my keyboard is out...I'll make the top and bottom bars, etc...I just need some killer images to use...240x320 for the upright and 320x240 for the sideways view (also called pertrait and landscape)

Do you want us to render them at the smaller size & send them to you or what ? I could, if I do anything, post it on my dA account.

well, make it big, make it small...I plan to show them off so everyone here can see the awesome fractal artists we have...so its up to you...

As you can see ... one side is landscape oriented and the other portrait.

And I think the reason Lauren mentioned her dA account is because of the specific sizes you are looking for. Uploading to our beloved site would necessitate a minimum of 800 X 600.

Perhaps Jenn, you could clarify as to whether you would be doing the resizing. Just some thoughts.

Yes, I can resize...so if you want to post your creation to Caedes, go for it...if you want to make it specific to the size of the ppc, that's ok too...just know that if you make it full size, you'll have to put alot of attention to details which ill be minimized when I shrink it down...hence the challenge...
However, I know we have a creative and artist bunch here, so I have no doubt that you guys will present me with some very pretty images...big or small.

If you want to get uber-creative and photoshop something...I love fairies (faeries) and dragonflies

...and for the guys...feel free to use a Hemi/Boss muscle car image...the photoshop part is NOT required...only an added challenge if you so desire to flex your fractal muscles...

and have fun...remember, its me...so quirky is good, and perfection is not necessary (unless you are just too anal and it has to be perfect)...me, I like pretty and cool.

What about my The Forest King ? Granted it does have a little yellow & some eggplant mixed in with all the green ...

Hey Jackie, maybe you could do the opal-ish one. Your whirlpool would be great for that I think. With the white background & the soft blue, I think it would be great with some "opal" colors.

Nope, just yours. Guess nobody feels up to some fractaling right now.
