We have had the "Artist Spotlight" on the main page for so long, isn't about time to change that? It's so uninteresting since it's totally over....how about it?

The "Artist" which I'm assuming you are refering to is the one at the top of the page???? if so it hasn't been on here for so long, it was only posted on the 3rd July, which happens to be Fogz (Patti) who is the Artist of the month..

Actually Verena, if you are referring to the artist Spotlight, July 3rd was the date I uploaded it to be approved for the front page. *caedes then has to approve the contents of the article & then he actually uploads the news item. The date it appeared on the front page was late on July 18th....so this 10 days old!

If this is not what you are referring to, please explain.

Well, yes I was referring to the artists spotlight, but I thought that was over a long time ago. I guess it just feels long to me, maybe I'm counting the time when it officially began too. Sorry if I stepped on anyones toes, I just thought it should have been replaced with something else when the whole
contest was over with. Maybe it would be nice to have a new contest.

even if it was from the time it offically began (3rd July) that is NOT long at all you have to give the artist of the month a "fair go" for people to see it (btw it wasn't a contest)..
As for a contest there is a member initiated "project" which you can participate in morats project or maybe you could start a contest..

It was called "Guess the Artist"...I "guess" I thought of it a a 'contest'....sorry. Well maybe some of you dear friends and myself too could put out 'thinking caps' on and see about asking for some kind of challenge to us all or a contest or something...to give us some motivationt to go for? Would be kinda fun me thinx...Morats project? well, I'll have to ponder on figuring out just what that is...V

"Guess the Artist" contest was over in April. The Artist Spotlight is not a contest at all. It is a feature of the site that has been on going since November of 2005.

It hasn't changed???? you mean the threads on the front?? if so... I think your superman vision needs a slight adjusting, cos the last date on the front page (at the bottom) is 21st Jan 2007

It's the Guess the ARtist that I'm talking about, NOT Artist of the Month..etc..is there soemthing wrong with my pc? I mean, all that Guess the Artist still comes up, maybe there is something the matter with my stuff? Any ideas on that? anyone?

clear your cache, you probably have a stale page logged there.

Keep the new pages in ziploc bags so they'll stay fresh longer.
