The first VAN HALEN tour in more than 22 years with David Lee Roth as lead vocalist kicked off earlier tonight (Thursday, September 27) at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlote, North Carolina. The group's setlist was as follows:

I got floor seats...Row 30, Section C, Seat 1 & 2 (aisle seats)...right side (Eddie's side) for $ 150 a piece plus all the tax junk. I spent like $ 344.00 for the two.

VH has "postponed" the St. Louis show Oct. 28th. Just wanted to let people know in case you hadn't already heard. Will advise ASAP!!

They'll have released two albums and been broken-up four times in that time-frame!!
I'm still holdin' on to my tix and will be there!!

I saw David-Lee-Roth on Howard Stern's show a couple years ago ... while I DO consider him the only frontman for the VH brothers, I personally could not stand to be in the same room with him for more than 5 seconds
the guy is just a bubbling fount of idiotic jibberish .. he has more nervous tics than a paranoid meth addict who has lost his ADD medicine
and I was surprised to see the band attempt to take him back after the relatively sedate HAGAR years.. I think that quickly fizzled, no? .. so this is the second time, they've taken him back ... and possibly the second fizzle?
they've climbed the mountain, the David-Free Mountain .. peered into the valleys beyond .. and saw that it was good
