It’s not really about what we want to see - it's about what you and your wife want to remember really :-) there are many good pro photographers out there who specialise in maternity portraits, Canada's Helen Tansey for instance. You could scout around and try and draw some inspiration from the pros...I think the shot you have posted doesn’t really focus on the beauty of pregnancy enough - it looks a little forlorn and the mass of background distracts from it a little. I think the knack is to find the grey area that hovers in the middle ground between being gratuitous and being demure. Hope that helps.

I'd say the shots are good. I like the yellow effect surrounding only the main theme there. Thumbs up!

I think it's a lovely way to remember that time in your life and think that it will appeal to some people.
