With a name like ... "three-wheeled-gsxr-engined-stealth-tryke" ... you just know that that person is serious when it comes to ... er, tryking.

I used to ... used to, change the 'quality' of fuel ... as prices yo-yo'ed up and down. Down? Switch to premium. Up? Regular.
Kept fuel costs, more or less even over time. And in some misguided way I am sure, I thought that the premium fuel at times kind of sort of ... cleaned things a bit. Injectors and so forth.
And that ... concludes this round of rambling from yours truly. You know ... till next time. :oP

Here in Portland, Oregon, the gas as of today is $4.24 per gal.
And there are tons of stations adding water to it, and people are stealing gas out of cars with rubber hoses now too. And I've noticed many many more Harlys and all sorts of cycles on the hiways now...but nope, not a tricycle to be seen as yet!! whew
According to Les's link above NZ - US$6.13 per gallon, USA - US$4.06 per gallon.
I think everyones has gone up since, I know it has here - but hey whatcha complaining aboutnover there!! :) :)
Here is now costs 50% more to fill an average tank, than it did 18 months ago :(

Fresno--$4.47 for cheapest upwards to $4.71 per gallon.
My 19 gallon tank costs me on average $85 per fill, and I get roughly 375 miles per tank. The prices actually DROPPED from last week...the cheapest was $4.55 per gallon. I'd kill for gas to be $3.89 again!!! Y'all need to be glad you aren't living in Cali--or England.
Yes I heard California was high my aunte and uncle live outside of San Diego in the mountains and cousins are in San Diego so know just about how high your gas prices are there and yep yall should come here to Texas cause so far we are cheaper yall take care now yall here'
LMAO

You want heatwaves sucking up gas...come hang out in Fresno!! We have been consistently ranging from 95-105 DAILY!! We just came of a triple digit week, and are heading back into one mid-week. By August we will be hitting 110-115 degrees daily...so again...no bitching...Cali has the high gas prices, the high temps, and I can't even get eggs for less than $2 now (used to be 99 cents/dozen).
At least we DON'T get tornadoes or hurricanes, like you guys in Texas!
it depends on where you live for tornadoes or hurricanes really here in texas but you gots to love the state to stay here we can gripe all we want but we just take what god gives us everyday and go on.

A:FLAMES
We do get bad wildfires though...and with the heatwave, the air quality is in the toilet currently!! So that at least helps save on gas-- no one goes out on BAD air days here in Cali, unless we absolutely have to.
Oh, and I just saw $4.85 at a Chevron today!! SH*T!!!
We're still at 4.07 as of today, but that's about 20 cents more than down south of us. We live in Tourist Country, and they're (tourists) getting to be fewer and fewer :(

I live by millions of fruit orchards...Fresno is the main producer of fruit for the US...or so they claim.
BTW...I have been told that gas evaporates in heat...tomorrow it is expected to hit 112 degrees...currently it is midnight and 99 degrees. My gas tank will be empty by Wednesday and I don't even have to drive to empty it!!

woohooo, it just went down to $3.89 a gallon..wondering if we'll ever see it below three again. But I shouldn't complain, it's over $9.00 a gal in the Uk...whew...horrible...

3.75 USD/GALLON. We must also remember that we drive a lot more than the people of England/UK. How many square miles are in the U.S.?? What's the population? Supply and demand?? It takes us longer to get from place to place unless we live in the immediate vicinity of a city. I drive 30 miles to work one way, and 50 miles to school one way!! Don’t have a choice in the matter!! Poor public transportation in the U.S., poor fuel economy autos etc... So yes I will complain, so long as the middle east and OPEC countries have a noose around our necks!!
1 Gallon = 3.785 Litres, and it's approx. $1.60 AUS/Litre way over here so we (being people who aren't me, i don't have a car yet :P) pay around ~$6 AUS/Gallon, so quit complaining! :P
Nothing worse ... well, ok there is .. no cookies in the household ... however, having a few dollars in your pocket and having to make the executive decision between:
1. Going to the movies. Driving, of course.
2. Going to the movies. Driving, of course ... and then ... no money left for tickets.
Or ... or ...
3. Going to the movies. Driving, of course ... and then ... buying your tickets for the flick ... and then ... no money left for ... Raisinets!!

$3.99 - $4.19 for 87 octane, up to $4.36 for premium here in southern lower Michigan. Strange, since the last time crude dropped to around the $100/barrel mark, gas was a little over $3.40/gal. Gouge?
