I thought that it would be cool to have people post poems or songs that they wrote. I'll start to give shy people a boost:

This rotten blackness full of hate,
This once-begotten lost dim shore,
This blade of light that seals fate,
This riven heart upon the floor;
This evil deed to bring dark pain,
This pale door leaking light,
This hope unhindered slicked in rain,
This boon that causes such a smite;
This horrid darkness forging grime,
This star so bright that heeds no ire,
This might beyond the seals of time,
This sacrifice to gain such light.
