I made some changes to the way the comments are modified when you include web links or other HTML codes. I am now passing the comments through a validator that will make sure the web links or other codes are properly formated. This is important because improper codes can cause the whole page to not display correctly.
When you type in your comment, you can press the button "Preview this comment" to see what the comment will look like on the page. If there is a format error, it will be printed in red. Otherwise, you can verify that the comment looks like you want, and you can test the web links if any are in your comment.
Please let me know any problems or questions that you have about this change.
I just noticed this featured cuz I posting on the hangman thread & I think this feature totally rocks !!!! You can preview spelling, grammar, if you left a word out etc. That's terrific. Except that I pushed one button that I don't know & lost everything, but I'm tired & that's probably it, just hitting the wrong button.
Aside from the that, I love this feature & will be back tomorrow.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
There are few situations in life that cannot be honourably settled, and without any loss of time, either by suicide, a bag of gold, or by thrusting a despised antagonist over the edge of a precipice on a dark night.
