Is is 'normal' in the AC to be asked to vote on an image you actually nominated yourself? I would have thought that would have been taken as read ? Means I am voting twice for the same image.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It might seem illogical, but probably makes the software much simpler. That's the reason for most things like that. You are also not voting twice. Just once, like everyone else. Your nomination is not a vote. Images I nominate do not get a vote from me, as I am not on the Art Council, I am only able to nominate images. The two functions must therefore be separate activities.
Ok, Thanks :) It's just that I have never ever had it happen before. Would have to be pretty thick to vote against ones own nomination though - how fortunate for those images that turn up in the nominator's list - that is one vote guaranteed, so the odds for being accepted are increased :)
