1st place
People In The Air 8 by corngrowth

mirto56: Your skills shine with this People In The Air photo and entry for the contest. Sorry for the delayed comment as I have been away on holiday. I just returned from the U.S. on Lufthansa, though a much newer aircraft. Best of luck in the contest Cornelius!

Constance52347: So this is the field side of the gate, according to Wikipedia, and it was the middle of a series of gates, almost destroyed to make way for a railway line. What a magnificent structure and wonderful entry for the contest!!

3rd place
THE OLD '' STUD'' by nuke88

braces: A wonderfully evocative image that deserved to do this well in the competition.

icedancer: Boy that baby really was stripped of everything including the motor. Marvelous find and capture, also the way the colour tones all blend together. We had a Studebaker but that old of one.

4th place
Holy History! by Dunstickin

luckyshot: Bob - A nice piece of medieval history being presented. A building of that size was quite a feat in the 1100s. As you added the sky to the image, there is some artifact along the edges of the roofline (or what was once upon a time). Thad

5th place
Abraham Hasbrouck House - New Paltz 2 by luckyshot

corngrowth: I've told you again Thad that I see a lots of similarities in ancient houses of the 'old' world across the big pond.

A feast of reconnaissance again!

Regards, Cornelius.

LynEve: Congrats Thad on your placement with this beautiful image, filled with history
