koca: Beautiful picture and excellent narrative. Good luck.
Vickid: Your words ring true, and your capture says it all...marvelous.
Nikoneer: This is an excellent capture of a happy day in the ongoing history you and your son are creating. The perspective of the near-converging lines of the bridge, the mouth of the foliage tunnel at its apex, and your son smack in the middle, head turned just enough to evoke exploration on his part, all in good focus and the more evocative b&w treatment, makes this a real keeper. I'm hoping you have it printed large, framed, and hanging in a prominent place in your home to put a smile on every guest who sees it. A fav for me.
Happy Trails

jerseygurl: Congrats, Jeff on taking 3rd place in the contest!!!!!!!
Flmngseabass: Congrats Jeff for your 3rd place win. Well deserved:):)
Nikoneer: Sharing your experience, interest, and time to youngsters is one of the best things a person can do. While you were definitely the mentor this young man needed, precisely when he needed one. I feel certain, Jeff, that over those years there were plenty of kids to whose lives you added so much. I^m not Jewish but, in that culture, you would definitely be considered a true ^mensch^.

Pjsee16: Vivid, luminous, and evocative!
corngrowth: John, when sailing the seven seas in my previous career, I'm glad that I never had an encounter with a ship and its crew as perfectly depicted by you, 😁 .
I must say however that in my childhood days I've read (with red ears because of the tension) books with pirate adventures too.
Your splendid work does revive my childhood days to a certain extent now. Thanks for that!
biffobear: Looks nice and in a good setting...R.
jerseygurl: Congrats, Milka on taking 5th place in the contest!!!!!!!!!
Flmngseabass: Congrats Milka for your 5th place win. Well deserved:):)
corngrowth: Milka, this would be a very apt entry for the 'A Childhood Memory' contest.
If you would decide so, I wish you the Best of Luck with it.
