These mushrooms appeared after heavy summer showers in Louisiana. I hope you find them interesting.

Are they huge or is that just the angle you shot from? Really interesting. They have warts! LOL anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

I wondered about their size too. Are they large? It amazes me how fast they turn up and how quickly they are gone again! Thanks for this shot of them.

It looks more like a sandstone sculpture than any mushroom I've ever seen .. I'm glad I don't live near them, they must be hard on the teeth .. ;o)

I agree with KEIFER. I though they were stones until I read your description. Nice shot. Very interesting.

At first I wasn't sure what it was. Thats either the largest mushroom in the world or you buried your body into the swamp to take that shot. Can you sit on it?

the blades of grass there look about 4" high, so that monster is what...12" to 16"?
very nice capture, it does look like an abstract sculpture of sorts

I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band, I saw a needle that winked its eye. But I think I will have seen everything When I see an elephant fly. MY GALLERY

I thought these were rocks too until I read your description . Excellent capture and the angle you shot this at is just amazing to make them appear that large. Good photography.

It's a giant mushroom from the moon. Everybody run! What a unique perspective. It's a miracle it didn't snap at you. It looks HUGE! I'm outa heah! Nice capture, Miss bunnyslippers (Luv that handle).

Not sure if it was intentional but I found it really interesting that your title describes both the central image and the background upper right.

I thought they were stacked flat rocks! Very interesting and nice texture on the mushrooms :)

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~

I thought rocks too. A very interesting photo from a creative angle. Good strong colours and the border works well.

I thought they were stones in the icon but when I viewed full size I wondered if they were mushrooms. They are huge! Nice composition and detail.
