Sadly, another little childs grave in Arkansas. Found with the 1800 graves. All the details of this grave time had erased. May these babes rest in peace.
Any comments are appreciated, and thanks~

PS- JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, I JUST CANNOT KEEP UP WITH THE THANK YOU'S AND STILL HAVE TIME TO ENJOY ALL YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK - SO PLEASE KNOW THAT I APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!!!!
I love angels. I think the angels guide the little ones to heaven. They are most certainly in a wonderful place though we may not comprehend. God bless them all.
The shot feels intimate because it is so clear and I can see all the plants and dried leaves on the ground near the stone.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

You've given me inspiration! Next time I visit my parents, I'm going to make a trip to an old cemetery near them. Its full of interesting stone tombstones. A lot of them have details like your sculpture. Nice shot!
Carolyn, this is a very good shot. The preview pic reminds me of a Nativity Scene sculpted out of gray clay that my Grandmother brought me back from the Holy Land. Nice tribute and touching it is. Thank you for sharing.
That headstone is a piece of art that has stood the test of time. The fact that it’s over a child’s grave gives it a more powerful impact. It’s a nice find Carolyn and I think that the out of square presentation is quite appropriate for this image.
Carolyn, I had to look at this one too. I find it interesting that the angel remained when everything else was gone. I think it tells you where child is really resting. Very thought provoking. Good post.
Very nice shot of this tombstone! I agree with Tick about where the little one is really resting.
I always find it very sad when I see a grave of some one so young.
