Another view from the Bayou looking at downtown Houston. When I came here, the Hyatt Hotel was the tallest and it had a rotating restaurant at the top. Now you can no longer see it. Enjoy and thanks for coming by, you are always welcome. Anita

Very nice view of downtown. I like the reflections in the blue builging on the right. That one looks liki it does not have any windows.

The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.

I haven't been to Houston in ages..these buildings were made for such a photo as this one. It's a fine example clarity and of course perspective..there was another thing I noticed too, and that is with all the glass and concrete, you've decided to give this a bit of a natural feel with the trees as the base and just the touch of the leaves on the left-hand side. Mother Nature is never too far away. :)PJ

Nice perspective and great photo, but give me the country life. Thanks for these shots, Anita. I've never seen the Houston skyline.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Perfect angle to shoot from to get this great perspective. It's a excellent example of an art lesson I had my class do. I'd love to show them this picture.
It's nice to see some city scapes as well as country ones.

Been to New York, and i found it always hard to take good images from highrises.
But you succeeded very well here, usualy it is just a matter of distance back, here was room at least. Good work.
