This guy actually came out of the water and started after us as we were on our morning walk. They are beautiful but to me, a little intimidating. Enjoy and thanks for coming by today. Anita
Great clarity Anita, I think he is a Canada Goose ?I may have some friends for him, keep a look out ! I love my morning walks too. Thanks for this Anita.
What wonderful composition, Anita, and he looks so innocent. I'm told, though, that the best watch dog you can have is a Canadian goose! Thanks for this!

Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
Excellent with the greenery in the lower right and the water looks great and the goose...I'd stay away from him too even if he does make a lovely shot! Very lovely shot, Anita.
Geese can be very aggreessive. I don't know what they could do to you if they actually "captured " you but they sure can put a scare into you. She must have had babies nearby. Nice work.

Nice shot Anita. I wouldn't think intimidating as much as an arrogant annoyance - they are ALL OVER my complex here because we have 2 large ponds/mini lakes... they think they have a right to get territorial with me when I am walking too. Here's a scene to imagine, me 4 or 5 months pregnant walking to the pool with my suit on and a swimming noodle - they started hissing and running at me and me being a hormonal prego started swinging my noodle at them and yelling about "who pays rent here, me or you?" ... the guy sitting on his balcony had tears rolling down as he laughed at that scene!

I know what you mean about them being intimidating, ha ha ha. I've been chased a time or two myself. :-) It's a beautiful shot though Anita, as always, thanks so much for sharing your adventures with us.
