Just outside the small town of Mt. Angel, Oregon there is a wonderful Abbey and they've named their post office "St. Benedict". These beautiful bells are high up and when standing there you can see the entire valley below. They are quite impressive. Thanks for coming by. I appreciate all of you. Anita

Very nice, all those bells. And interesting, that they stand there open air. Will we see the whole building also? Yes, I know, I always ask for more. Smile. Good job.

What an amazing backdrop to those shiney bells. Not only are the bells impressive, so is this wonderful shot. Thanks for the background story and for showing them to us. I've never seen anything like this. I think I'd feel blessed living in a town called Mt. Angel!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I have never seen such big bells in the open like this. I suppose they produce a musical tone when they start ringing because of the different sizes. Impressive.

You've captured these bells in grand fashion Anita ... the pewter color against that backdrop knocks me out. Very well done my Lady.

I agree Anita with all of the above. Wonderful job of capturing these bells against a beautiful background. I also wonder like Jerry if they ever ring them?. I bet you could hear them through the valley. Nice post.
