Ya know.. Larry, I am not sure if you had included the entire bloom in frame as to whether or not it would elevate things.. some.

^ First thought.

Then came.. what about a crop on either side. Again.. some.

Don't change anything.

Nice shot.

If interested.. as I think you have Photoshop, and even if you don't.. you might be able to extrapolate the steps from this onsite tutorial.. " Faking the HDR thing..".

The results in the tutorial don't do the technique justice.

When I use it, it's sort of my go to for post-sweetening.. it accomplishes most of the common image adjustments. (Well, in my opinion.) The HDR that can result is a bonus.

I mention the above tutorial.. as I do think you could bring out some more details from the shadows.

Love the colour contrasts.

Good good detail and clarity as well.

Thanks for sharing this one with us, Larry.

+favs for me.

Very nice subject Larry. It looks in great shape. The water drops really add some zest to it. Good to see some more work from you.

The beauty of this 'floral queen' hasn't diminished after the thunderstorm, Larry. It's on the contrary however!
Thanks for this very fine one!
