Bouillon-white or mullein is a common name (derived from a Gaulish word bugillo) that are several species of plants of the genus among the mullein Verbascum and the family Scrophulariaceae. The mullein are among the oldest medicinal plants in the world, used primarily in herbal pectoral.

Never heard of this plant but the presentation is superb. I like how you have half of the flower blooming and half still in bud, for an interesting contrast.

At first I saw this image yesterday and it looked familiar but I could not tell the name [in Polish] although I knew it all the time! "Dziewanna" it is!!!
I must admit nevertheless that this one is presented much more beautifully than it probably looks in reality:) Excuse my little joke - this is wonderful and TRUE image! I swear ! LOL
