“Got a smoke?”, she said.
“Sure.”, I said.
“Now take a picture of me with this Marlboro.”, she said.
“Click!”
I’ve always loved street photography, capturing everyday moments that give a glimpse into a person or place, but rarely upload the results. Perhaps I doubt their “commercial” appeal. But I’ve decided to post anyway, one never knows what will catch the eye!

What an interesting face she has, and that she was so willing to be photographed makes it even more interesting.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Quite an interesting composition Rebecca. Think you nailed your title's concept with how you framed your image.

That facet has had me looking at this one for quite some time now. Keep going back from the almost hand model-like pose and her eyes.

Curious though, what the results would be if you somehow took down the whites of the cigarette down a bit?

Your photo speaks/tells a lot, at least to me, about how some of us hide behind props of all manners during our days.

Her eyes show a hint of reticence, more so ... she looks ... well, proud and relaxed in your presence.

Nice shot. Good tonalities, good clarity ... I will add my name to the list of those that enjoy people photography. Street or otherwise. :o)

In this image, better than most you captured a moment. The subject is mugging for the camera, but it doesn't matter, because of your magnificent composition (You cut off the head, and it was the right thing to do.) and your choice of black and white to accentuate the textures you really caught the person well.
