I liked the way the wind had made patterns of snow in my yard. The hard freeze after kept everything in place.

I too like the way this turned out. A high score in the VB.

A good capture on this one. Great lighting to catch the lines like that. Plus it causes some of the snow crystals to sparkle like small jewels. Very nicely done.

The way the pattern has remained frozen loos quite impressive. Unusual and beautiful.

Hi Laura, you've photographed this at just the right time of day and captured the swirls beautifully. Perfect dof, sharp all over. Maybe a play with the curves tool might produce a bit more 'lift' without sacrificing all the good stuff you've captured so well.

Nature's comb at work. It had to have been a cold day when the wind crafted this, the hard crystals scouring the lines in the snow. Not knowing if the gold color was something you were looking for, I downloaded a copy and ran Auto Tone and pushed the exposure to .5 in Photoshop CS4. It's more stark but the shining crystals are still there. Good eye, Laura, but then again, I'm not surprised. Keep 'em coming.
