As I promised a friend yesterday, here is Mix Lake in colour. Like I said, it is beautiful no matter which way you photograph it.

Oh WOW Chuck, it's almost surreal with those blues and shadows and different greens. Magnificant capture and great post. Thanks for sharing it.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Thisis a great shot. The colours add a lotto it and bring the picture to life. You get a real sence of depth to this picture.

It was no slacker in B&W but in color it really has the WOW factor going! Beautiful shades of green & blues, and the peak in the background is stunning!

I like the shapes and patterns in the photo and since you did such a good job with balancing the blacks with the whites in the other version, the color isn't needed to see the real image. They're both well done. - Patty

I, on the other hand, would have felt cheated if I hadn't seen it in black and white the first time, because I was able to see all the depth of shading in it,and now in color...Hottrockin said it all for me. Thanks for this marvelous addition to my faves. :)PJ

This is absolutely breathtaking, Chuck! So crisp and clear and the colors ....wow! I have not seen the b/w one yet, but I already know that I would much prefer this one. Outstanding work =)

This is a supreme landscape photograph. The deepness of the depth of field of your shot is startling. The exposure too is perfection. A top mark shot. Great work.
