Another "doll" from what I call the Valley of the Dolls. The rock formations here are remarkable. They range in height from an estimated twenty to thirty feet and more.
Great post Chuck ... I'll show my ignorance here about this "Valley of the Dolls" ... Is this remarkable rock formation man made ? Just doesn't seem possible it's a natural formation. And for those commenting behind me ... I'm ready for the obligatory ... DUH !!
DUH !!
same as muggsy I'm afraid....
Super shot Chuck....great colours in them rocks and the formations add a lot of texture-like qualities to it............
The one in the center has a human like appearance Chuck that is very interesting to look at. I can only imagine how huge they look in person from your description. Thanks for showing us this.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
Besides the fact that it's an interesting scene, I like your color saturation in this photo - very rich which makes it all the more pleasing. Good composition, too, Chuck. - Patty
It's DigiCamMan's twin sister..lol..jk jk..nahh..I really like this and don't have to tax the grey matter too much to pick out the doll with her bright green scarf at her neck. Now, that's what I'd call a heavy date.. :) The rest of the pic is very nicely balanced with the natural surroundings untouched because in such a bold capture as this it needs other strong images to support the whole. The sky's the limit in this one with the again, I'll use the word "strong" color of blue with the pure white cloud to give just the right amount of subtle light touch..great post.thanks for sharing :)PJ
