Around the next corner there is a Doe. She made a quick exit though and I didn't get a chance for another shot - uh, I mean chance to take another image.
Full screen the focus seems a hair off. Guess you had to be quick on the trigger ... Uh! ... I mean the shutter release. Nevertheless I never tire of seeing deer in the wild, and she's a beauty as is your presentation.
They're alert - and rightly so! I'm glad you posted it; deers are wonderous creatures! Your comment reminds me of the time I asked a news media guy to move aside because he was so much taller than myself. I told him I wanted to get "a good shot" of Mayor Daly and the Vice President in Chicago at a rally. The Secret Service was on me in a mili-second!! Camera, folks, Camera!! :) (sorry to ramble off-subject) - Patty
What a great sight Chuck and to know the baby is around the corner, she won't let you any closer will she :) You did a great job in capturing her. Nice composition and color. Thanks for a great post.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
Wow, you must have been really quiet walking through here Chuck. Excellent photo considering they're as fast as they are once they sense what could be danger to them. Hats off to you for being able to get this shot at all.
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
