This old house looks so pitifully lonely now that everyone has just walked away. I love these old places. They have so much character to impart if only they can be seen. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Now there's a fixer-upper. I wouldn't mind living in the area but I don't know about that house. What would you give to hear it tell it's many stories?
Nice capture.

And I love an image that takes me away on a flight of nostalgia and imagination, as so many of yours do. but I love this presentation on many different levels...and I guess that's what art is supposed to do.... transcend us to a higher plane of thought and senses. In the eye of this beholder, you've done all that and more. It's a keeper and a beauty...and I sincerely thank you for this experience and for taking us all to this wonderful place we would never have seen if it weren't for you :)PJ

What an interesting post Chuck. The old house was probably magnificant one day in the past. It's sad to think what might have happened. Very well done and thanks for sharing this one.

Great posting Chuck of a an old lifestyle we can only imagine. I'm amazed this place is still standing what with all the snow you've mentioned getting in the past. I would have thought the roof would be totally collapsed from all that weight over time.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

I too enjoy seeing old abandoned houses and other buildings too Chuck. I try to imagine the people that lived there at one time and the memories they have . Nice capture and a shame it couldn't be fixed up by someone and brought back to life.

Your composition is wonderful, Chuck, and the house has a charm, though its better days are gone. I'll bet is was a grand place to live once. Nice job. - Patty
