Great view, Chuck and you're right - it's definitely enhanced by the snow. I'm not sure about the chrome-yellow touches here & there but I love the monochromatic sharpness and clarity of this image. Good one!!

Amazing to see the Aspens mixed in with snow (they are aspens Chuck right?...at least some of them). It's a very dramatic photo and the yellow tones in the water are awesome. What an interesting post and so very well done. Thanks Chuck. Know you enjoyed it up there ;)
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Thanks to all for your nice comments about this image. I would like to let you all know that I got run out of the mountains yesterday morning because of what turned out to be a 36 inch snowfall. I made it just in time.
36 inches of snow? Boy, I'm glad you didn't get trapped in that. I didn't hear about that on TV. That's a god-awlful amount of snow. Hops that doesn't keep you housebound. This is beautiful. Those yellow aspens cast an unique glow of color on the water. I remember driving thru the Rocky Mts on I-70 west where the red rocks were dotted with white snow and yellow aspens. What a combination.

The colors are truly amazing int his Chuck. The water looks so beautiful. I imagine people are ready to go skiing now aren't they with the snow already falling?.
Ah, beautiful Colorado. This is a stunning view. The abundance of fir? trees is magnificent. And how lovely the mountain is in the distance. I'm actually feeling alittle chilly viewing all that snow. Pretty lake winding through. I like the touchs of yellow - are they the aspens? Looks like winter has hit that area :) Excellent view here - Thanks Chuck :^>

Nice to have "Mix Lake in Color" to compare with this Snow Fall image. Looks like like this one was zoomed in a bit and maybe a couple of "clicks" to the right of the Color shot. Both excellent captures. I think I favor the "Lake in Color" over this one BUT ... you sure don't make the choice and easy one ... DO YOU ???
