I have Mikel & Sandi to thank for inspiring me to do something about the sky in this picture! If I can remember how to do it, I now know how to replace parts of a picture. The real beauty I have found in doing this is that I have also discovered how to do the blending of images in something other than Picasa... with full control of the blending ratio! :o) I actually worked with layers and then had to clone and heal to get this job done. :o) I have an important question... what happens when one wishes to transfer a sky from another person's picture as I have done here? What are the copyright issues with a sky!?

I like this even though I haven't seen the original.I'm just learning to do some manipulation on photos myself.

A very nice difference in the two images. The addition of the sky color allows the eye to focus on the main subject without getting distracted. The bridge itself is a good strong image and I like your perspective.

Much of the beauty in life is found in people who care.

Very nice improvement! It was worth working on the sky. I have taken a few photos of nice skies in case I want to blend them like this. You might want to do the same when you see a beauty.

Nice shot here Con. This is most commonly known as the Bixby Creek Bridge and is about 18 miles south of Carmel along Highway 1 along the California coast. Having the pleasure of living about 2/2.5 hours north of here affords us the opportunity to drive over this most anytime. Nice view her Con and of course the scenery around there is breathtaking as I'm sure you remember:) More information here:
