You may remember that Fogz put up a shot of the foot of the Emperor Constantine. Well here is the hand and head. These are hugh! My wife at 5'8" is a good 5 1/2 feet from reaching the top of the stand that the head is resting on!

:O I knew what was coming here Paul! In fact I framed the head in a photograph to post at sometime and also the hand pointing upwards! Amazing the size of those statue body parts. I even have a photograph of myself stood next to the foot - in fact that is the photograph on the left and I was more than likely stood right on the spot where you were standing to take this photograph! lol!

...this is a good composition looking from the side - well captured!

ps I think I missed out on some of the museum - I walked all around the building behind the statues, but later discovered in my guide book that I should have gone down to the basement and along a corridor beneath for the forecourt passing views over the Roman Forum! grrr! :)

This is something you would see in a gift shop as a postcard! Well done!

Poor Constantine. Are his body parts all over Rome? I agree with fogz - the composition is very good. You chose a great angle.

Great perspective and details. Judging from the columns, the statues must be huge. Great shot.
