Did you ride there on that boat??? ;) B&W was a good choice here. I really like the odd mix of modern and ancient :) The clouds add a little drama to the scene as well, nice work!

b&w is a good choice for this image Paul - love the boat in the foreground - it gives the picture depth. I think the tower is slightly offline but an excellent shot nontheless!

oh lovely comp here, and everyone else has said it works well in black and white, and i agree, it may have been quite an ordinary scene in colour.
