Bethany, I am going to agree with you. My favorite of yours so far. Absolutely gorgeous and in my winter slideshow and favs. It's been a chilly posting day here at Caedes. I'm enjoying all the snow images as we are still waiting to get it here.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Wowsers Bethany! This is awesome...color, composition and subject. Prime example of the rule of thirds. Going to my little personal wallpaper folder...thanks;-)
I like this one for the concept, but I think you needed to move a little more in to grasp the imge of the structure a little more. Maybe zoom it in a bit. Other wise nice.
Clayton: Thank you for the suggestion :) I guess I wanted to get all the elements in this. But I do see what you mean. Hopefully I'll soon be able to get more winter shots, but unfortunetly all the snow had melted after my day of "picture hunting" :( But it should be back soon! *crosses fingers*
Jojo: If you would like, I can send you a copy without the border :) Thanks again everyone!
wonderful shot! just love the red suddenly jumping out sorta quiet in all that snow..and the way the water leads right to the house. Its perfectly framed with the branches too...excellent job!
Still my all-time fav. of yours. Here it comes around again. Will soon be viewing it in my winter slideshow. I'm back to add my sincerest congratulations for your new honor. I hope you'll enjoy your gift. Well deserved and I thank you for sharing your young talent with us. It's been a pleasure to view all your different "eye-deas" ;)
Very good shot, the red house really makes it. Digital Angel huh, you aren't the same one making those human chip implants are you? There is something in Revelation along that line.
Many snow-on-trees winter images just all look the same after a while. This composition just pulls it all together and draws you into the picure with the dark water, the red barn - it is wonderful.
Bethany...Wow! This is simply a gorgeous capture...The feeling of a long and endless winter feeling lost in the woods...and suddenly, an exit sign..a door to a world away from its barren surroundings. Just beautiful! Straight into my favourites...
I just ran across this and it's great. Looks almost too good to be true. I don't like snow, but I'm glad it snowed here so you could take this photo. Good show.
