Up on the hills around Rome and well known for the the high quality wine, tourism and villas. During the 1500 was residence of Pope (Gilulio II della Rovere), Cardinals and Italian and German noble families. During the second World War was the see of the Marshall Kesserling's Command and submitted to a number of bombing actions from the American Flying Fortresses. Today is one of the best place to live outside Rome. From the terrace there's a fantastic view of the Capital. Comments are welcome.

This is a beauty, Ed. I like the HDR, and the bold colors. Nice framing and I love that text font. Well done.

Another beauty Ed. I am liking the tour and especially the history you are sharing. The colors are really something to see. I can almost imagine the city below. Great shot.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
