The way to go to the Santa Scolastica's Monastery. Santa Scolastica was St. Benedict''s sister. The internal of the Monastery is a mix up of styles: Middle Age, 1500, and inside the unique Church edified by the famous Architect Giacomo Quarenghi. He was, during the 1700, the most important architect of St. Petersburg and the author of the Hermitage Theatre and other neo-classical palaces in Russia. Comments are welcome.

Love it

I will not be leaving comments on the new postings for the next 2 and ½ weeks, due to me being very busy getting ready for the holidays. So I hope you don’t mind, but I’ll be checking on them when I can. Once we are on board the ship, I’ll have to wait till we get back to Orlando after the cruise, due to the cost of internet on the ship is so high. Look out, here I come to hotter weather, lol.

My goodness, wonders never cease, another wonderful picture. I only have to say the upper right is just a tad too dark for me, but really, it's such an incredible color all around. I do even like the pink hues in the clouds. The texture on the hill is beautiful as well.

FDR is beautiful Ed. I like the way you presented this with the curve in the road to let us enter your Monastery. The sky looks wonderful yet threatening. Excellent work and another fine shot from your country.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
