Ed - This is another work that looks like it was painted - terrific post-photo work! The composition has a nice balance with the church framed by the tree on the left and building on the right. The walls in the foreground and left draw the eye to the church door, ornately carved, especially for this simple church facade. The bell tower, set against the tempestuous sky, continues the eye's journey. Thad
Fantastic work.. so good in composition, subject and perfect editing as a final tough. Really enjoy the atmosphere that you have in all your photos. Your work invites someone to want to see it with their own eyes. Compliments!! Mich
I can see your fan base is growing EDV. Excellent work will do that. Another wonderful use of FDR. You brought out the life that dwells in all churches.
Congrats on the spotlight. Great gallery. This image particularly caught my eye. Good composition with a wonderful mood and artistic qualities in the high contrast colors and rich textures. The threatening sky is marvelous and the green park bench up against the wall almost seems to grow right out of the grasses. Excellent capture and presentation. Beautifully done. anne =D
Tell me if you like it or don't but be sure to tell me why! I promise to always give honest and sincere (albeit gentle when necessary) critiques. MY NEW YEARS TIP for all, go have some fun with your new gear you got for Christmas. Do some things you rarely or never do. If you always shoot scenics, go shoot macros (or as close up as you can get.) Practice on different subjects, try new lighting techniques, bracket your shots (shoot the same image at different exposures and different apertures), get down low and shoot from your back, your belly, and your knees. Bend, twist, lean and climb up on things. Shoot toward the sky (carefully - blown out sunlight is NOT attractive :-) Just do something different and amaze yourself then share with us :-) Love you Caedians.
