Not the composition I was going for, but that photo had horrendous lighting mistakes. So instead your stuck looking at this however briefly you choose. Came across the mushroom festooned stump early this morning with a few rays of light striking it. It looked good to me so I figured why not snap a shot or two dozen. Didn't do much in the way of editing and went wide screen on this one. Hope you find this to your liking, enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell, nice capture! I like the lighting so I am stuck looking at it for a longer time. It looks like the Red Cap is holding court or making a political speach to the voters.

You did a nice job with a very difficult subject. I thought your description was hilarious, especially "It looked good to me so I figured why not snap a shot or two dozen." It almost looks like a nest-full of eggs. Wonderful colors in those little guys. They look delicious. Very nice clarity for such a dark shot.
