A companion piece if you like to Three Buds. This is what those buds eventually grew into. Unless that is the neighbours are playing one big practical joke on me by gluing these flowers onto that particular bush. You never know with some people; they just might require some additional surveillance.

Anyhow that's neither here nor there. Susie wanted to know what the flower looked like. So I found the best photo I had of them and decided to post it for her. As you can see the flower had a few visitors that particular day. A couple of rather smallish bees and some unidentified flies(?).

Very bright bold color here Wendell - I seen these flowers referred to as "Paper Flowers" - I assume because they sometimes look like crushed up tissue paper but don't know their real name.
