Anyone feel like taking a long walk? Then this may not be the pier for you. Feel free to "dock" me a couple of points for that lame and tired old joke. It could have been worse, much worse. Alternate titles included "Barrels of Fun" and "No Mermaids Here, Move Along"
Another view of the lake is what comes to mind when I look at this photo. No real editing took place to speak of; outside of the usual tone down the highlights, saturate then de-saturate the colours, a little change of the white balance, a couple of three layers and effects. Though I'm pretty sure some improper cropping was involved. I did forget to check the shot for levelity, so if those boats start rolling towards you, move first then complain.

Love the blues in this shot and the reflections in the water plus the beautiful sky that you captured.The focus is very nice and i like the stillness about the photography a very piece full looking places.

Such a relaxing scene Wendell. The clouds even appear to be leisurely floating along. I like the title and a good joke is never out of style.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
This is a very nice Wendellesque shot. Wonderful narrative plus high marks for everything technical. Sorry but I can't think of anything about this shot that bothers me. I'll make up for it on your next one, I'm sure.
