One more cottage on the lake shore. From the looks of things it may have been receiving a facelift; or the second story man left his equipment behind after discovering he had gone to the wrong place.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . A great place to live out the remaining years Wendell. Many people only dream of living next to the water. Your shot will make the value of the property go up it is so good.

Wendell, you're a lucky guy to live so close to this lake. You've never mentioned if you have a kayak or a canoe of your own to paddle around. I'm not a big fan of the dark although I've been learning that I shouldn't be afraid of the dark from some of Rob's beautifully dark manipulations. To me (and this is only a personal preference) the shot needs a click of positive gamma. Additionally, I first noticed that the sky seems a tad darker in the upper left. Then I realized that this posting had a slight vignetting. I know you wouldn't do this on a whim; so I'm wondering if you thought the vignetting added to the overall composition.

One way or another, it's a wonderful posting of a beautiful and scenic spot. If I saw this in the VB, I'd give it a 6.5 because it's a little dark for me on an obviously sunny day.

I love the color tone and look of this one Wendell - it reminds me of a Kodachrome slide from a vacation in the 50's - just wonderful.
