Some small wild flowers shot in the merry month of May. Though with all the rain that has fallen so far this month it will soon be known as the soggy month of May.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Hokey smokers, Wendell!!! I can't find anything wrong with your posting. Better have a second look so hold up a minute.

Okay, I'm back so there's no need to hold your breath any longer. I think the depth of field is right on the money. Your capture of the colors and textures in the blooms is remarkable. Regarding composition, I would have brought my chain saw along and taken care of that irritating leaf on the left. Next time, leave the chain saw at home and think ahead by spraying the leaf with Roundup a week before you come back for the flower shot. Lovely blurred background. And a solid 7 out of 10 - 7.5 without the leaf on the left.

These are called spring beauty around here and this is a great shot of them because they are tiny - nice work.

One of my favourites, Wendell. Not too fussy about the huge leaf cuz it attracts too much attention.
It probably knows that and grew there on purpose, but the soft light colours, and the background tones do a great job of making the flowers dominant.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Excellent clarity on the foofies, and the background colors and blur are perfect. Nice work.
