Hi, Wendell...

In comparing this posting to the one in "Wooden You Like To Know", I like this angle much better although the landscape mode doesn't do justice to the base of the statue. Nice job of dropping in the snappy flag. I don't see the seam lines. Excellent capture of the beautiful sky. Sure wish we had some clouds around here. The wide angle seems to be doing something to the slant of the building. I've noticed this on my shots sometimes where all the verticals don't line up in parallel. I've heard that there's a program that can fix it, but don't you think the building looks like it's leaning to the left - especially on the right side of the shot? When you figure out how to fix that let me know. I like the reflections in the glass windows. The window top right must be reflecting an image from a very flexible universe. "Nice shot".

You must have a lot of pigeons in your part of the world, Wendell. It takes a lot of statues to make them happy. I see what Roger is talking about. It is not as bad as some of the ones I have done. I feel like I am standing right by the statue.
Oh no, I have to go change shirts and wash my hat.

What a stiff upper lip this gay as,I believe the birds would be to scared to do there job on him lol.Nice interesting shot,with good composition and colour.Love the blue sky and white cloud backdrop.Plus nice job with the flag too.
