We find this statue standing in front of the local R.C.M.P. detachment. The plaque on this one reads: "Dedicated to the memory of REG. NBR. 24009 S/SGT. D.A. 'Al' Burke 1945-1999".
I spent a bit of time in front of this statue waiting for the wind to snap the flag into position. It never happened for this shot, so I borrowed the flag from another shot and glued it onto this one.
Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

In comparing this posting to the one in "Wooden You Like To Know", I like this angle much better although the landscape mode doesn't do justice to the base of the statue. Nice job of dropping in the snappy flag. I don't see the seam lines. Excellent capture of the beautiful sky. Sure wish we had some clouds around here. The wide angle seems to be doing something to the slant of the building. I've noticed this on my shots sometimes where all the verticals don't line up in parallel. I've heard that there's a program that can fix it, but don't you think the building looks like it's leaning to the left - especially on the right side of the shot? When you figure out how to fix that let me know. I like the reflections in the glass windows. The window top right must be reflecting an image from a very flexible universe. "Nice shot".
