These appear to be some blue coloured flowers by all accounts. Experts were consulted and 4 out of 5 agreed they were indeed flowers. Set against a darkened background with an unnecessary frame thrown in for good measure.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

This is gorgeous. My girl-friend's favorite flowers are hydrangeas... gave this a 09 in the voting booth. Very nicely done!

Many thanks to Caiden for identifying these beautiful blue flowers. I have a number of photos of these in both pink and blue.

Wendell, you've really outdone yourself. In spite of your best efforts to sabotage this shot with the "unnecessary frame", this flower shot is a dandy. I'm sure you'll send me a PM telling me that the shot is out of focus, but I think the focus and DoF are spot on. The detail is extraordinary and the blue and yellow flowers are a fine demonstration of Mother Nature at her finest. The thing I like best is the lighting. I consider this an exemplary posting. If I see it in the VB, it'll get an 8. It's worthy of a 9, but the "unnecessary frame" is half a demerit point and the fact that this is a flower shot is also half a demerit point. If this beauty doesn't make it into the high 70's or low 80's I'll contact J. Edgar Hoover to start an investigation.

A fitting title and a very good shot crisp and clear.

Stunning capture. The lighting is amazing and the flowers are in pefect focus. Asounded by the clarity and think the framing just makes it perfection! Nice one :D
