Another scene from the Public Gardens in Halifax, NS. Had to drop a blue sky into this one to replace the glare that was in the original photo. Did what I could to make it look like it belongs there.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - This isn't the sky I saw when in NS several years ago - far too much blue! lol Another fine shot of the beautiful gardens in Halifax. Thad

Sky looks good to me and it's a good shot - perhaps a tad oversaturated to my eyes.

Hi ya, Wendell...

I'm still a member of Caedes and haven't yet received any death threats; so I'll continue merrily on my way. I always use marble statues of Greek gods to line up my shots. Immediately to the right of the foreground tree is one such statue. It seems to be leaning right as is that well constructed and virtually indestructible trellis on the left.

Other than that you stole my thunder by mentioning the sky. Dropping in a fraudulent sky must be tough. The first place I took on postings is the area where the sky meets the treeline or some sort of land mass.

Love the colors, especially the begonias. This looks like a great place to sit and people watch while eating a bucket of KFC while wondering about the meaning of life, infinity in relation to the far reaches of the universe and the skyrocketing price of corn.

That has to be one of the tallest trellis' I have seen Wendell. For a vine climbing all the way to the top would be akin to leaving home. You did an admirable job with the sky. Good balanced shot with lots of color.
Dorothy, I mean Roger, needs help. I think the sky has dropped in on him.
Good post.
