Pretty much as advertised. A photo of a dirty pool of water that was flooding a trail. This particular trail being a woods road at the end of the road in an area called Chokecherry Hill. Your basic middle of nowhere place. It holds no special memories for me; outside of the fact that every day for two weeks I had to detour around this ginormous puddle to get in and out of the area I was working in. It turned a long walk into an even longer one. So remembering that old saying about life giving you lemons, I looked around for someone with a bag of sugar, a pitcher and some clean water. Needless to say they were nowhere to be seen. I settled instead for taking some photos. It was after all a poor location for a lemonade stand.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

This is about as honest as you have been with one of your posts Wendell. Even dirty pools have reflections.

When someone did something unfair to us we used to accuse them of "Dirty Pool." You needed a rake to sit your camera on and snap some more. Chalk it up to not thinking. :) I sure am racking up some references in this one. I hope I don't get caught behind the eight ball.
I better quit before I snooker myself.
Good shot by the way.

Good shot of the dirt and the reflections. Nice and clear for as dirty as it seems to be. It's surprising where you can find a great photo, you did it though.

In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art. ~Rumi~

I like the monochromatic look of this and the light blue reflection - very cool shot Wendell.

Wonderful shot and like the way the ripples are showing when the rain has fallen
