I run across many strange things while on the job. Sometimes I even remember to photograph them. This would be one of those strange things. A genuine mailbox in the middle of the forest. I'm not sure if the name in the box was B.B. Wolf or P. Bear. But, I'm pretty sure the postman doesn't ring twice when delivering to this address. Then again I can't actually remember the last time I actually saw the postman. Maybe I should investigate that.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I would say it belongs to Woody Woodpecker and he has some pecking to do Wendell. Perhaps this is Elm Street. You better get outta there before Freddy Krueger has another nightmare.
Perhaps someone is just Doing Time on Maple Drive.
I will save the rest for someone else.
A good post that stirs the imagination.

Hi, Wendell....

This is a little softer focus than I'm used to seeing in your shots, but it suits the mood perfectly. The subdued colors help make this quite a moody shot. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like there's some fog in the background. Don't let Wendell find out about the fog. Honestly that guy is a madman and will kick your butt.

If I know you, you're disappointed in the focus or the lighting, but this is the perfect mood piece. I like everything about it. It screams, "Spooky"

Love the colours in this shot and the detail is very nice too.Love how you have blur the background and the composition is spot on my friend.I dont think myself Jack Nicholson collects there any more,it looks like it's had a firecracker placed into it some time lol.

Very moody, spooky and all that and the color tones are very cool - not in a temperature sense!

Seems pretty mysterious to me, although I do like the color in the background. Guess I like the whole shot.

I have to say this is unusual and creepy, yet it's very fascinating and brilliantly captured. Good composition and lighting; nice choice of color as well. Excellent work =)
